Sustainability Commitment
As part of Sempre Avanti Consulting’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, we have set a number of strategic sustainability goals - and we are also helping other organisations achieve their sustainability goals!
Part of this journey was to be involved in the carbonzero programme as a participant in 2007.
The carboNZero programme is conducted by Land Care Research and is designed for businesses and organisations that wish to measure and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
Sempre Avanti Consulting has been a previous participant in the original programme. SAC was certified (29 June 2007 and 1 August 2008) as a participant.
SAC carboNZero certificate numbers are: 2007340 and 2008033. Copies of the certificates can be provided upon request.
Carbon Counted
Sempre Avanti Consulting used the CarbonCounted GHG footprint and labelling system to validate the 2008/09 GHG emissions inventory. Total audited emissions for the period have been measured at 10.7 tonnes. This is a reduction of 1.6 tonnes from last year.Sempre Avanti Consulting also used the CarbonCounted GHG footprint and labelling system to validate our 2007/08 GHG emissions inventory. Total audited emissions for the period have been measured at 12.3 tonnes.
